Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from the industrial automation engineering course of the University of Brescia to our production facilities of Rubinetterie Bresciane in Gussago, for a day dedicated to discovering the technologies and skills that drive our industry. This visit represents a unique opportunity to promote dialogue between the academic and business worlds.
Working with universities allows us to build a direct bridge to talent and innovation, giving students the chance to discover the company up close and inspiring them to pursue professional careers in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
The group's state-of-the-art facilities and international profile aroused great interest among the students. Through the use of advanced technologies, we aim to improve not only our products but also to create a stimulating working environment geared towards personal and professional growth. This synergy with the university world opens the door to future collaborations and potential hires, with the desire to integrate young talent into our group.
We would like to thank UNIBS and all the students for their visit and the enthusiasm they shared with us!

Last week, at the Servizi a Rete 2024 event, Marco Tassotto (Valpres Sales Manager Energy Division) and Claudio Gattavari (Valpres Control and Energy Harvesting Valves Product Manager) presented the abstract “Installation of an energy recovery hydraulic control valve at the Gazzera plant - Acquedotto di Venezia”, concerning the first installation of the Valpres Locpower valve for the Veritas Group.
The project, focused on the production of green energy and the digitalisation of the water network, aims to improve the efficiency of the infrastructure, guaranteeing the reliability of the system, even in areas with a high influx of tourists.
Thanks to the Valpres Locpower valve, it has been possible to harness hydraulic pressures to reduce losses, cut CO₂ emissions and improve network monitoring.
In the first part of the presentation, the Veritas Group described the path to this result, while Valpres illustrated the concrete benefits: around 200 MWh recovered per year and over 80 tonnes of CO₂ avoided.
A significant achievement that marks progress for the environment and underlines the need for sustainable solutions for the water infrastructure of the future.
